The Interview Project

The Interview Project is a series of short edited audio interviews with artists, local community members, cultural producers, and community activists who have been part of Limehouse Town Hall’s more recent past.

This project is a form of what labour historian Eric Hobsbawm once called a ‘protest against forgetting’. Its focus is on mapping a network of ideas, views and activities that have been central to creating a complex and diverse civic environment at the Town Hall.

All of the interviews in this series reflect important questions about meeting points between community, the arts and cultural production in Limehouse, London and the wider world.

More interviews will be added over the coming year. Check back here for regular updates or join our mailing list, twitter or facebook to hear the next in the series.
