In these challenging times, the safety of our building residents and the local Tower Hamlets community remains paramount to us. As such, Limehouse Town Hall remains closed, despite the recent easing in movement restrictions. Since March 2020, we have seen great resilience and strength from our community fostered through solidarity, mutual aid and care.

Since the lockdown commenced, the building has been used by a small number of essential community outreach workers on a limited basis, who have adhered to social distancing.

Plans for a safe, staged reopening of Limehouse Town Hall are in discussion. This is by no means a small task and in reality we won't be opening our doors to mass gatherings or events for quite some time yet. The first stage of any reopening will look to allow individuals and small groups to work together, adhering to social distancing.

We would like to thank The London Borough of Tower Hamlets for supporting our work with rent relief for three months. This has given us some stability in these difficult times. Work is underway to build resilience to ensure that Limehouse Town Hall can continue to benefit and support Limehouse and the wider area for years to come.

Come along to Limehouse Town Hall and take part in a workshop to explore repetitive data production and processing in relation to AI.

In practice this means sound, movement and craft activities.
