Dende Collective – the Anglo-Brazilian Theatre Company will be working in the Limehouse Town Hall for a week exploring the world of the play TURMOIL. They will share the results of this investigation on Friday 18th September at 7 PM. Parts of the work will be polished and others not as much, but the entirety of the play will be performed. There will be a chat with the company afterwards where you can help them with your feedback.
TURMOIL is a new play by one of the hottest Brazilian playwrights at the moment, Jô Bilac, whose work remains unknown in the UK. TURMOIL is a surreal tragic-comedy set in a Jayne Austenesque South-American world. Expect Flamenco singing, Tap Dancing and animals!
