Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Limehouse Town Hall has suspended its operations as of 13 March.

This decision was made to support broader social distancing efforts and to protect the health and well-being of our employees, volunteers and visitors to the building. Working in coordination with creative residents, all public events in the building have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future.

All staff employed on contracts with LTHCT will continue to be paid for the foreseeable future. We are working with all creative residents in the building to limit and cease their use of the building. We will be monitoring the situation, and will provide updates as events and decisions unfold.

We recognise that Limehouse Town Hall is an important resource for its creative residents, regular visitors and community members in Limehouse and beyond. We hope to resume normal operations as soon as it proves safe and possible.

This is an extraordinary time requiring solidarity, mutual aid, and, above all, care. Spend the days and weeks ahead showing generosity to kin and strangers alike, especially those who are most vulnerable and in need. Also, wash your hands.
